Rachel M. Dean is a Registered Dietitian and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who is passionate about nutrition and preventing ailments. She has provided maternal and pediatric nutrition counseling in various settings, including government programs, hospitals, and clinics. Rachel studied Nutritional Sciences at Penn State University and earned a Master’s in Public Health from UNC Chapel Hill, specializing in maternal and child health. Currently, she serves as a Region 3 Lactation Trainer, offering educational opportunities on lactation and nutrition. Rachel is also the owner of Harmony Nutrition & Lactation, supporting parents of color. She actively works to decrease racial health disparities and is involved in various initiatives and organizations promoting health equity.
Joke Muyldermans, RM, MSC, IBCLC

Joke Muyldermans graduated as a Midwife in 2006 and a Master in Midwifery in 2008. She obtained the IBCLC lactation consultant degree in 2011, while breastfeeding her first child, born in 2010. She graduated in specialised applied pharmacology in 2015. She has experience as midwife and lactation consultant IBCLC in her own primary care practice, lecturer at the University College Brussels, head editor of the Flemish Journal of Midwifery and board member of the Flemish Organisation of midwives and ELACTA. At the moment Joke is also a researcher on COVID-19 vaccination during lactation at the University of Brussels. Joke has 4 children, and breastfed them non stop for 10 years and 7 months.

Loretta Anderson is a registered nurse, registered midwife, Midwifery Lecturer, Lactation Consultant within the community and received a PhD in 2023. Loretta is passionate about educating mothers and the midwives of the future with evidenced based, woman centered care. Loretta achieves this by combining teaching, clinical work and research.
